Let's thank him for his protection and provision in Ephesians chapter two, verse four through nine. It says, but because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions. It is by grace. You have been saved and God raised us up with Christ and seeded us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. In order that in the coming ages, he might show the incomparable riches of his grace expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Speaker 0 00:01:04 For it is by grace. You have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves. It is the gift of God, not by works so that no one combust we are alive in Christ. The foundation of this truth is found in other phrases that Ephesians mentioned, phrases like His great love who is rich in mercy, expressed in his kindness. These phrases they transform our lives and be. And how amazing is it to realize these are gifts that we receive by grace? So let's pray. Lord, we pray that you would help us to experience your mercy in our community today. Lord, we pray that you would use us to impact our neighbors and our city, that they might experience your goodness through our lives. And Lord, we pray for your church that it would be an expression of God's love to a world that desperately needs your mercy, your kindness, and your grace. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
